Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales and marketing team by coordinating campaign activities and maximizing the use of HubSpot for CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.

This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing campaigns and daily operations, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and digital marketing tools.

Key Responsibilities

HubSpot campaign management

  • Supports the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns within HubSpot, including setup, testing, scheduling, execution, and optimization.

  • Creates and schedules targeted email campaigns using HubSpot.

  • Builds and manages email workflows, landing pages, forms, and CTAs using HubSpot Marketing Hub.

  • Segments audiences effectively within HubSpot to tailor content and increase engagement.

Digital marketing campaign support

  • Assists in planning, creating, and scheduling multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, and digital advertising platforms.

  • Coordinates campaign timelines and ensures that all assets (e.g., graphics, copy, and landing pages) are delivered on time.

  • Supports campaign A/B testing and gathers performance insights to refine strategies.

Content creation & management

  • Assists in producing content for emails, newsletters, blog posts, and social media aligned with campaign goals.

  • Maintains and updates the content calendar to ensure timely publication.

  • Schedules and publishes posts across social media platforms using HubSpot or native tools.

  • Edits and proofreads marketing copy to uphold brand voice and consistency.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Uses HubSpot, Google Analytics, and social media platforms to monitor and report on campaign KPIs.

  • Prepares weekly and monthly dashboards for marketing performance reviews.

  • Analyses data to provide actionable insights that improve campaign targeting and messaging.

Who You Are

  • Our ideal candidate has:

  • A HBO degree

  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within a medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other GMP-related environment.

  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written); Dutch is a plus.

  • Proficiency in HubSpot (Marketing Hub and CRM)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and organization

  • Creative thinking with the ability to support content and design briefs

  • Basic knowledge of SEO, social media management, and digital marketing trends

  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Excel, Canva, and CMS platforms (e.g. Storyblok)
